The Work We Do
This is a CAD/CAM operation. Our primary fabrication method uses laser light. Designs are sent to our 2-axis laser system and its light beam ablates material from the target. The infrared beam acts like a 0.005” milling bit. Plastics and wood are commonly cut materials, but leather, cloth, Masonite® , Corion® and other non-metals can be cut through. Glass and ceramic can be etched. Perhaps surprising, mirror acrylic and mirror films can also be cut without difficulty. Pass-through holes for pins, or holes for screw tapping are commonly cut to provide 3-D assemblies. We can also tap threads for you as a post-processing step.
